Policies and Procedures

    • We aim to keep a good working relationship with parents at all times.
    • Staff will ensure that a warm, caring and secure relationship is built with children under their care.
    • All children are assessed individually and their personal needs catered for.
    • Individual daily records are kept for your child so you can be aware of your child's days at nursery.
    • A high standard of hygiene is maintained at all times. Equipment is clean, safe and suitable.
    • Staff and child ratios are monitored closely to ensure the safety of the children at all times. Students are not included in the staff to child ratios.
    • Children's behavior is monitored and managed positively with close communication links to parent. No physical chastisement is tolerated by any member of staff. No child will be humiliated, embarrassed or frightened. Bullying from other children is not allowed.
    • All accidents are reported, logged and parents informed.
    • All parents are entitled to all information about the activities and care received by their child. Time for discussion with parents will be made whenever necessary.
    • All parents are encouraged to help determine the care their child requires.
    • Staff do not discriminate against any child or parent on the grounds of race, culture, religion, gender, disability, lifestyle or sexuality.
    • Our Policies and Procedures manual are available to read at any time. This is situated in the office and a member of staff will be happy to assist should you wish to read it – removal from the premises is not allowed.
    • Notice boards are displayed in all rooms in order that parents can be kept up to date.
